2025 Topgolf Fundraiser

Help us Grow and Massage the Pipeline of Future Civil Engineers!! 

Background: In the summer of 2022, Dickinson ISD (DISD) & Pasadena ISD (PISD) Career and Technical Education (CTE) departments, alongside staff from San Jacinto College and BayTran, formed the Committee for the Recruitment of an Engineering Workforce (CREW) through our partners at Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership. This 2024-2025 school year we launched a pilot program with DISD & PISD's CTE engineering students. They are currently in the process of designing & building scaled versions of Tiny Homes. Our industry partners from Gannett Fleming | Transystems, and GUY Engineering have staff volunteering to have 3-5 touchpoints with the students to mentor them through the process. These projects will be scored on a rubric and the winning teams will be announced this spring. 

This Topgolf Fundraiser and CREW were created to help us grow and massage the pipeline of future Civil Engineers. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Dickinson & Pasadena ISD's Education Foundations and earmarked for future CREW initiatives.

How you can participate: 

  1. Golfers: Register as an individual or create a team of three to compete and contribute to the cause. Spectators: Enjoy lunch and networking.
  2. Sponsors: Show your support by becoming a sponsor and gaining visibility for your business while making a meaningful impact. Donors: Even if you can't attend, you can still make a difference by donating or contributing to the event. 

Come swing for a purpose and make a meaningful impact on while enjoying a fantastic day of golf. Every stroke and every contribution counts in making a difference in the growing the pipeline of future engineers. Let's drive this challenge together - one swing at a time!
